Terms of service
IronLedger is a training log, not a coach and not a medical service. You own the data you create, the app is free, and it is provided as is.
The sections below are the operative terms. The health disclaimer and the limitation of liability are the two worth reading properly before you load a bar based on anything the app suggests.
Agreement to terms
By downloading or using IronLedger, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.
Use of the app
IronLedger is a workout tracking application designed to help you log and track your strength training progress. You agree to use the app only for its intended purpose, and not to:
- •Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
- •Use the app for any unlawful purpose
- •Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- •Interfere with or disrupt the app's functionality
Health disclaimer
Important: IronLedger is a workout tracking tool, not a medical or fitness advice service. Load recommendations are produced by a deterministic rule from your own logged sets, and they are not medical advice.

- •The training programs included are for informational purposes only
- •We are not responsible for any injuries that may result from exercise
- •Listen to your body and train within your capabilities
Intellectual property
The IronLedger app, including its design, features, and content, is owned by IronLedger and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
The training program templates included in the app (5/3/1, Starting Strength, and others) are implementations based on publicly available methodologies. These program names and methodologies belong to their respective creators.
User data
You retain ownership of all workout data you create using IronLedger. Your data is stored locally on your device, and if you sign in it is also synced to our servers so it survives a lost phone. You are responsible for keeping your own backup, and the app exports your full record to CSV or Excel at any time. See our privacy policy for what is stored where, and delete your data for how to remove it.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, IronLedger shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, personal injury, or any other damages arising from your use of the app.
Disclaimer of warranties
IronLedger is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.
App store terms
Your use of IronLedger is also subject to the terms and conditions of the store you obtained it from, the Apple App Store on iOS or Google Play on Android. In case of any conflict between these terms and those store terms, the store terms shall prevail.
Changes to terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the last-updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
