Delete your data
There are two copies of your training record to think about: the one on your device, which you can clear yourself, and the synced one on our servers, which exists only if you have signed in.
Export to CSV or Excel first. Deletion is permanent, and it cannot reach workouts already handed to Apple Health or Strava.
Open the History tab in the app and export to CSV or Excel. It takes under a minute, and it is the only step on this page that can be undone.
Everything below is permanent. There is no recovery once it is done.Export first, because none of this is reversible
Your full training record exports to CSV or Excel from inside the app, in a format a coach can read. It takes under a minute and it is the only step here that can be undone, so do it before either deletion below.
Clearing the copy on your device
Logging works without an account, so for many people the copy on the phone is the only copy there is. Clear it by resetting the app data in your device settings or by uninstalling the app. This happens on the device and needs no request to us.
Clearing the copy on our servers
If you have signed in, your sessions, programs, custom exercises and records are also synced to our database. You can have that copy erased without deleting your account, which is useful if you want a clean slate but intend to keep using sync. Email dev@ironledger.appfrom your account address with the subject “Data Deletion Request”, and say whether you want everything or only certain categories.
- •Workout sessions, including every logged set, load, rep, RPE and RIR value
- •Programs, custom exercises and saved templates
- •Personal records and estimated 1RM history
- •Account preferences and app configuration
What deletion cannot reach
Once data has left IronLedger it is governed by wherever it landed. A workout written to Apple Health has to be deleted in Apple Health, because iOS does not let an app remove a record it already handed over. Sessions sent to Strava are removed in Strava. Files you exported are yours to manage.
Deleting the account as well
Clearing your data leaves the account in place. To remove the account itself along with everything synced to it, use Delete your account, which you can do from inside the app without contacting us.
